I can't give away all the tricks but you'll need a white corvette, 100 gollons of red jello and 6 victoria secrets models......

OK....so once you get the vette and the girls you're almost there but I always like to show up and personally supervise the important bit....oh...and to ....uh....interview the girls and make sure they're suitable.....IF the thing goes wrong it could get dangerous and I don't want anyone to get hurt. IT may even be best if we just arrange for you to send me the vette, girls and jello. Tahe way I can test it out here and then send it to you there.....

Well I don't know really what it is but it came with the 100 gallons of jello I ordered. It was really a **** to get it out of the corvette cause these victoria secret models were all over it.

Dude.... How lame, All you have to do to sample in Adobe Audition is open the program, than drag the song from your itunes, then sample... THATS IT! I can sample 100+ Song's in less than an hour if I really go at it.

Why call someone else's preference lame?

Sure, for just chopping down mp3s, that's pretty fast, but what about sampling external sources?

Anyway, I prefer the MPC for this at the moment for similar reasons to Jaem's. I spend all day at work in front of a PC, and the MPC allows me to get away from that when I get home at night. Sampling, chopping and sequencing on the MPC for me is fun. Spending more time in front of a PC is just too much like work sometimes. I can mix there, but for writing, the PC just sucks the life out of me sometimes.

mono - mpc

unless you're producing solely on a waveediting platform like acid or protools--which i did for a while, and can't say i'd ever go back-- i can't possibly see how anything can be easier than sampling on an mpc
