Let's see.

I have
-The 2000xl with ext zip drive and a pair of AKG240s headphones
-A few crates of wax
-Talent

That'll do for now, cause i'm broke as hell.

When I finally get my hands on my MPC1000, it'll be snuggling up with:

PC with Audiophile 25/96 card running Acid (version 2 - old!), Wavelab, few other odds & sods
1200 with a Stanton 500AL
Ensoniq EPS16+ (Nice)
Casio SK-5
Dodgy vinyl selection

The holidays have been good to me. I primary play my roland Jv 2080 sounds thru my MPC 2000 but when I wanna sample somethin on the MPC usin my CD player, I can't hear both sounds at the same time. So i went out and bought a cheap lil' DJ mixer. I been on the road the past 2 months so i haven't been able to work with my home equipment soooo
Last week I bought a laptop and loaded Acid 4.0 and it's workin good for me. Havin a portable setup is perfect for me. I'll the type that will park somewhere and break out my laptop and get busy. I can't edit .wav samples to save my life though. Acid is a very easy program to learn and i even gave my homie 2 beats to use for his album droppin june 14th, so it's all good right now.
