Yo man how did u go about doing this?? Fill me in I want to start a production company

Its simple..... All you do is come up with a unique name, next you
go to the court house and purchase a business liscence for that name
in VA It was 50.00 dollars. They will ask you to list everything down
you have purchased for your studio all the way down to the chair and
what its worth...Then they will ask you how much do you think you will
make in a year, I told them 15,000 because I think anything over that
you will have to pay extra for the liscence, and after that they will give
you a piece of paper stating you are a legal business until your real
liscence comes in the mail. If you are going to run your production company from your house like Im doing, you can't make it look as though
you have a business, meaning no signs and shyt like that. Then I went
on line and got a tax ID number, this is a nine digit number you will use
to open a business account, next I went to discmakers and joined there
studio partnership program, its free,...all you do is come up with a name
for your studio, register it with discmakers, listing what equipment you
have and services you offer, discmakers will then list your studio on there
website for people who are looking for studios in your area.In this program
you get special discounts...After that I produced the whole album in my house, mixed and mastered it with ozone, sent it to discmakers, had them
to master it just to make sure it was right and turned out everything was
straight the way I sent it.......Me and the artist went half on a thousand
copies which came out to 2500.00 dollars.(1,250 a piece) It was so high because of the cover......They sent the thousand copies to my house, I gave him 500 and I got 500.....Then I joined BMI and registered the whole album with BMI........Going thru discmakers also allow you to sell your CD on the internet and sell your CD through digital downloads.........
