Errors usin' internal Zip 250 drive

After havin' some serious problems usin' an extrenal SCSI Zip drive, I had an internal Zip 250 built in. I've been workin' with it for about a month and a half now (without any probs), and all of the sudden I start gettin' all kinds of errors when loading and saving. As the problems I experienced before with my external ZIP caused a loss of about 25 of my best beats, I've been usin' another back up disk ever since. So the problem can't be the disks, I even tried saving and loading from a third brand new zip disk, and the same errors pop up.
They include: 'disk read error', 'can't open file', etc.. Sometimes when loading the whole screen changes into a whole bunch of numbers and shit, lookin' like a memory crash (got 32 too) or sumn. Then other times I manage to load a whole .APS and .ALL, and when being played my samples just start panning, sounds are left out of the beat or the whole piece just starts actin' weird, soundin' totally different from what it was originally.
I can't afford to lose beats again, as a lot of 'em I made for other artists 12"s and shit.

What the hell is this, any of y'all got an idea what I should do; I about had it with these MPC-predicaments.

Corrupted data! try loading up each sound individually and re saving them again without the pgm command. The corrupted data may be in either a sample(s) or with the pgm command. Better yet if you haven't already copped the MPC Editor download it at midicase.com and try loading and resaving your pgm on your PC. In theory this should work and the corrupted data should be fixed as you will be resaving the pgm using another source without MPC related interference.
