You REALLY should read up on USB in the manual.

That's probably why no one has replied.

Thanx Calmplex. That was helpful, and devoid of hi-sadityness. Much respect to you.

Lamp You "REALLY" should calm yourself. What makes you think I had'nt looked in the manual? I asked what ELSE can it do, meaning besides the little the manual says. You know there are alot of things that are not in this flimsy manual. And I would'nt say "no one" replied unless your purposely trying not to acknowledge Calmplex.

I did'nt even KNOW this site had one of those. Other places I go have a small letter box flashing in your face, there's no way to miss it. My bad on not being a MPC Forum nerd. And you keep moving it all you want, if thats what makes you happy.

I understand the barrage of repetitive questions or simpleton question that you must get, but you guys really need to tone it down. Not only do you come off as rude, but unhelpful in your attempts at being "helpful".

nah i think we're fine the way we are

ABCDEFG etc etc etc

actually it would make me happier to just delete it
and i might just have to do that

we can't tone it down, though. seriously.

if you stick around long enough answering questions and learning shit with us (which we hope you do, honestly) you'll grow to understand/agree with us. the forum has to stay organized and streamlined so that the right questions get asked in the right places - otherwise the gem posts get lost in a deluge of dirt posts. you dig me? it's nothing personal.

plus, moving your question here got it answered, didn't it?

and for the record, one of my first posts here was regarding what ram to put into my mpc, which is one of those repetitive questions that get asked a million times.

seriously though don't let this get you down or upset, it's just a necessary step. we won't hold it against you, and hopefully you won't hold it against us. there's a LOT of skill/technical knowledge on these forums, we just gotta keep it all in the right places bro.

excellent.

that being said i wish the usb did more. specifically i wish it in and of itself could be used as a MIDI controller - like how radium keyboards have usb cables. that'd be dope. unfortuantely, the usb is really only used to make your mpc a real expensive card reader.

i don't use it too often.

You never said you read the manual.

You never said anything about a manual in your first post.

I wasn't singling out Calmplex. You probably didn't get as many replies as you initially hoped for.

Calm myself, you didn't say that you had read the manual. You didn't specifiy anything except that you updated the OS via usb. I'm not a mind reader, I was going off of what you said. How is that rude?

I'm not an angry dude either.

And why do people have a problem with me telling them to read the manual, I don't even have a 1k but I've read the manual plenty of times so I should have a good idea of whats in it. I wouldn't say RTM if I didn't know it was in there and/or have seen it myself (I have read up on the usb thing, and all the 1k addendums/os history of updates).

I wouldn't have said that if I hadn't have read it.
I'm not one to just shout out "RTFM", when I do that it's because I've read it myself and have seen it.
