Is that the first CF card you have tried to use in your MPC? If not, what did you use before?

I have used without problems her of 32mg that comes with the mpc.
The rare(strange) thing is that the new one of 2gb if that I could have formatted and to use with the computer.

I think that the problem is that the MPC can only use a CF card up to 1g. Im not entirely sure though. I use a sandisk ultra 1g card and I have never had any problems at all.

Maybe try to partition the card, 1gb and 1gb.

I've got a brand new 2GB Sandisk CF (Type I) card that I haven't used yet. I'll try to use it and get back to you....

I have done 2 partitions of 1gb but it does not work either.

Try a different brand/company of card.

It(He,She) would prefer solving the problem with which I have before buying other one that probably does not work either.

I still haven't tried my card. I'll check it tonight hopefully.

Lamp, those Sandisk cards should be alright man. Unless the card itself is faulty.

In the meantime...
