trying with reason and the sp404 right now --

controls reason/controls sp404 both as modules
does not sync to reason

no loss for me, i don't do that anymore

Entertaining and free,
meets my two basic criteria.

But seriously, very cool.

There's not a chop shop per say, however when you slice, regardless of the # of regions you choose, it slices at the peaks. Works well.

Like to see if you can record track mutes, like to see how the direct recording works.

Going to check out the grid edit right now...

this wont mess up the mpc1k at all right? Im really wanting to try this out. Sounds really intesting. Is he going to release a final version for purchase?

i don't think it will mess up the mpc1000. anyone who can code an os is VERY LIKELY to know what he/she is doing.

i trust this guy implicitly.

yeah chops every transient rather than how many you selected - this is the first problem i've noticed. it'll get fixed.

Great work. Even if the chopshop is missing, this is a beatiful work.
This is a great beta! I hope he will keep up the pace!

yeah if this is a beta i think the chopping thing will be solved - just needs an option - slice or transient.

it's recycle in an mpc now though, that's sick
just want my slice back so i can chop note per note on samples with no transients.

also a transient sensitivity would be nice too.

With that chop per note doesn´t bother me that much. But that choice would be nice. Yep - Remember the drama with the Os. 2.10 ?
This guy probably knows what we are thinking.

Ps. Nice beats. Ya kept moving. Nice.

hey thanks, glad you liked em.

personally, (it might just be the adrenaline/caffeine speaking) i think this guy knows more than what we are thinking. he knows all of our deepest hopes, dreams, darkest secrets, most intimate fantasies and ugliest fetishes. he knows our childhood trauma, our happiest days, and he knows about the F we got on a math test that we hid from our parents under the bed. he knows that they found it and beat us senseless, and that the experience instilled us with a deep fear of failure that stays with us til this day.

i didn't believe in god until i learned that a japanese computer nerd coded os 3.0. now i have my doubts - who'd have guessed that god turned out to be japanese?

come to think of it, only transient slice allows us to use the extract slice fnction better. extract slice is better than old slice anyway - more leeway. see my post in production techniques.

so you can't sync to cubase? That's definately gotta be fixed. I "have" to track out my tracks.

you can still track em out easy enough - just record em as wav files.

but yeah for now you can't midi sync and hit play on mpc to have a software daw play. for now. i messaged the jenius via Mur. and asked him about it.

By JiggSaw Sat Jun 24, 2006 7:10 pm
Nah. Then I have to line up my wavs. I'm too lazy for that. :)
