it's not so much a bug as it is a misnomer - it detects transients now, which is a REALLY good thing when it comes to chopping breaks
but we're gonna ask that it gives the option to zone like it did before
as of now it negates the number you give it and does transients instead

ok...i anxiously want to start testing this beta with you guys, but i have one problem...
my cf card reader is broken, and akai is backordered, so i got a hard drive instead.
i don't want to be stuck with the new OS....so do you think i could just throw the OS file on the Hard Drive when i want to use it, then delete it and reboot the mpc when i don't want to use it? this is the only way i think i'll be able to do it until i get a new CF reader.....any suggestions/comments?

os3.0 has audtio track fuction..?(like mv8000 and 4000..?) when i was reading the web site, it says you can not save and doesnt have direct recording(i guess this is like audio track) on beta version, is it true..?

Yo D, somewhere down the line (after Hoodstock when you have more time), I'll work on something and maybe you can throw down the rhymes. Keep that on the backburner till then. 8)
