TC not working properly since OS update?

I seem to have a slight problem there...

since I updated to 1.21, the quantize is fux0r3d... If I monitor what I do in grid mode, I can see it only records the pad pressed once in a while, or if I simply press it once, it puts it a the first beat of that seq o_O

Does it in all quantize modes, works fine with quantize off... I feel god is sending me a message haha

Anyone had something like that happen? I reset the unit and re-installed the OS and still the same issue...

Hmmm, no problems her, just tried it on all TC settings too, with and without swing.

Just redone some testing, it appears that only the triplets TC are not working... ODD

Yeah, the tripletshitnezz isn't workin for me either.

I have the exact same problem Ive also noticed that the last pad I press in a sequence will automatically go the beginning of the track. But like xcen it works with quantize and the triplet turned off 1/16 1/8 1/32 work fine

I can live without it but I found it extremely weird I was the only one with the issue.


I am not sure about this one bit either: did I use to be able to put swing to 0%? Cuz I sure can't now!

I just bought a 2500 and my swing doesn't go lower than 50%

i have this problem to, wonder why they didnt sort that bug fix in the recent smaller update, definately needs to be fixed tho as it does stress me out as i like to use 32/triplet for some ish. so annoyin wen it just puts it at the start, i try n record somethin sick usin few pads just to see how it sounds and i end up with 4 pads triggering at the start of the seq, oh well, anyone come up wit a solution?

Record with straight TC (no triplets) and quantise it to triplets afterwards seems to work for me.

I wonder what we'll find to talk about when Akai finally releases a bug-free OS!

You don't know already? We willl be talking about how to replace the cheap flash card drive, modifying the USB port to make it USB2, 3rd party operating systems, Forat customization services (who will be the first??), anc continuing to reply to 1000 users who say we are stupid for buying a unit that is twice as expensive, yet has indentical features of a cheaper model......
