anybody use an Andromeda w/ MPC???

I have my Andromeda hooked up through the MPC and am getting extremely frustrated. When I am in program mode everything is fine. However, when I try to use that same program in a mix, 2 things happen. a) Suddenly the program has infinite release, meaning the note just plays forever. However, when I was playing that same program not in mix mode the note stopped when I took my hand off of the key. However, if I play the notes with the pads on my MPC through the midi in, I have no problems. 2nd, some programs sound distorted in mix mode when I play them through the keys. Again this does not happen unless i am in mix mode, and also does not happen when I key in the notes via the MPC pads. Any suggestions???

looks like this is indeed an issue w/ the MPC because I have no problems when I hook it up to Cubase.... strange. i will now try older OSs?

so now I try this with other OSs and no change. Anyone midi buffs out there have any idea WTF is going on here?

This only happens when I have my synth in multitimbral mode. Anybody else have a multitimbral synth hooked up to 2500 in a midi loop? This is a bit of an annoyance to say the least. Of course there are workarounds but I shouldn't need to work around this.

if you did'nt already do it,try to a factory reset on the synth and see what happens.holla back...

i already tried that. It just seems weird that my computer sequencer has no issues but w/ the MPC it FKS up.

The 2500 does have some issues with external MIDI instruments. This problem has occured with all of the OS released.
