MPC1000 OS V3.0 beta ?

That bodes well for us me thinks.

Does the beta 06 allow normal slicing? And what has been "downgraded" in beta 06, vs. 03 ?

I'm not feelin' the new choppin at all.
Seems like Number of Regions setting is doing nothing!
Can't we change sensitivity or sumfing (like recycle)
We need to have the old slice function (which had its uses - personally i liked it)
AND
An improved of this new pseudo-recycle thing. Sensitivity of the chop is vital.


Also in the new MODE + Pad11 program edit page we need Envelope controls

tell me if i'm wrong about any of this!
Do these count as bugs?

I like nice surprises when I wake up in the morning. The new OS is loaded up, but I gotta go to work. Can't wait to mess around with it later.

I have noticed that Direct Recording is not perfectly in sync, but it is delayed...anyone is noticing this?
For sure the old zoning system has to be reintroduced.
The new recycle type zoning leaves a lot of empty space before sounds when chopping..i tried to chop a drum breaks and all the hits were "delayed" because of empty space before them...
i really like the new usb loading system without unplug..cool

i've noticed that you can sort of audition samples in the load screen and fully audition samples in TRIM mode. now THAT is word!!

You could do that in 2.10 as well..

Anyway besides from the chopping issue, this new 3.0 BETA is better in every way or what? Is there anything else that doesnt work right?

mine definitely didn't do that on 2.10

On the 1st screen, in OVERLAP...is it just me or does he have POLY as MONO and MONO as POLY...i play a sample in MONO and it overlaps, i play it in POLY mand it cancels out...wierd eh?

I noticed that also last night but I thought that maybe I was just going crazy. They are definately switched vice-versa. I will submit this as a bug tomorrow.

i was just wondering if the new os is stable enough for a long live gig.
i will try this tomorrow night. i´ll keep you posted.
also i think a lot of you guys are so "negative". it´s a free beta version - we can be thankful for this - i mean it!
