LOOKING TO GET A 3000.DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN STACK DRUMS ON PADS LIKE THE 4000?

"stacking" is done via "simul-trigger assigning" in the PGM/SOUNDS menus.

When in doubt with operating an MPC3000.
a) press buttons in its well layed out and intuative menu system just to see what happens.
b) press "HELP" on a highlighted selection and read what the machine tells you.
c) RTFM - where most basic operational issues are covered in detail.
d) STFW - a huge resource if you know how to use www.google.com
e) STFF - yes the SEARCH function DOES work.
Then, when all of the above has failed ... jump in and post your enquiry on this or or one of the other MPC lists out there.
