We already know that the MPC2500 already accepts hard drives larger than the stated 80GB approved by Akai (I let you guys know when I first installed my HD) and we just found out that that we can use a compact flash larger than 2GB (search the recent threads).
Now what I want to know is that is there someone going to try to see if we can go past the RAM limitations?
I know that there are different types of RAM and the wrong RAM can be devastating to a machine (I've mixed RAM in other applications and burned out the ram). Is there someone who really knows RAM or electronic circuitry enough to dare to try it in their machine and report the results?
