Okay, so I've used Bluebox to save a program. Loaded it on the MPC, everything's fine. I go to record a sequence, tap it in time to the 2 bars.

After the two bars, it loops back to the beginning on overdub, and plays back what I've just recorded, same as any other MPC, right?

Wrong. Instead of playing back what I've just recorded, this stupid f*cking machine has remembered the timing of each note in the sequence, but replaced it with a different sample.

I've gone into grid edit to see what it has saved, and sure enough, when I tapped pad A01, it has saved it as pad A05. So I manually input it on grid edit. And sure enough, right in front of my eyes, as I press pad A01, a little box appears for pad A05.

Now, this is the first time I am actually trying to make something on this machine, and let's just say my first impressions aren't very positive.

Anyone have any ideas? Am I just doing something wrong? If so, I'll be happy and aware not to do it, but I'll still be pissed off that it's possible to make such an easy f*ckup after being able to use the 2kXL so fluently.

before you save the progam to your memory card go to the toolbar in Blue box and click "make pads chromatic" then you wont have that problem
