Take the Ram out if its 3rd party. Trust me, I would bet that that ram is at fault. Try a few things without the ram installed at all, see if your problems go away.

Good Luck.

I never said this OS is perfect..but its guys like you that delay the OS being improved.

1. We have people take shorts trying to get the cheapest Ram and cheapest hard drives.
2. Some claim there is bugs but don't list the steps that led to this bug.
3. Some post bug reports..and then later discover it was user error.
4. Then we have the few that says the MPC 2500 has bugs because it doesn't work exactly like the XL.

I am not really trying to start a fight here (or maybe I am)....but you and several more fall into the categories listed above.

So..you will continue to post the same BS that may or may not be true. If you don't tell us how to produce it, how can we confirm that it is in fact a problem. If you check my threads/posts that pertain to the first OS, I listed bug reports..step by step. These bugs were verified on other 2500s, reported to AKai...and they were fixed. In addition to that..several feature requests made it into the new OS  So..what will you continue to do? You can help us get the OS fixed (which will happen sooner/later) or you can continue to do what you have been doing..practically nothing. So, I will extend my offer to you. $1000 for your 2500, if you have one :P

..and you can't really get any MORE mature than that whole post right there people, jahrome DID post all those bugs and brought ALOT of stuff to light, he complained yes, BUT jahrome also went into detail and just didn't cry about it.

I suggest that everyone complaining take that same path and heed jahromes words and advice on that, get together, detail the problem w/ users and serial numbers and all the other info that goes with it, send it up though Akai's site, customer service or something like that.
