FXSEND Level??

In my manual page 92 it states:

In MIXER mode, press the [F3] (FXSEND) key.

The display at the top indicates the output setting, and the display at the bottom indicates the CURRENT SEND LEVEL.

My mpc2500 doesn't show any SEND LEVEL at the bottom field in the [F3] (FXSEND) page. The top field is the only thing I can set to Effect1, Effect2, or OFF, the bottom field just shows A01, A02. A03..etc. However, the [F1](LEVEL/PAN) and [F2](LEVEL/OUT) both have a SEND LEVEL (naturally). So my question is:

Is my mpc missing the SEND LEVEL in the [F3] (FXSEND) page?? or is this a mistake in the manual and AKAI confused [F3] with the SEND LEVELS in [F1] and [F2]? Or am I totally missing something?

Also, can someone please link me to a PDF of burning Audio CDs, my manual only has "RECORDING FROM A CD".

maybe your manual version and os version don't match up?

You have to select an effect first for the Send Level to appear. Some have one, some don't. Reverb and Delay for example have a send level.

Okay, my manual is for rev 1.0 and my OS is 1.1, I'm guessing that would be a litle more advanced then the manual is. I used a REVERB effect for EFFECT1, but a SEND LEVEL doesn't appear in place of the "A01, A02" in the [F3](FXSEND), thats really weird don't ya think? Thanks for the link, I'll check that out now. Hmm, if you selected a Reverb in FX1, then as soon as you send a Pad to FX1 in the FXSEND page, the Send level should appear. Maybe it is turned all the way down so it doesn't appear? If not, something's wrong.

I don't think it's because of the update though...the release say nothing about it.

I did again, after a while of trying a LEVEL meter appeared as I turned the Data Wheel, whew.. I'm glad that worked out. Now if I can get the mpc to burn the audio Ill be in good shape for my deadline tomorrow. This machine is A LOT different from my mpc3000 I'll tell ya that much. Thanks for the help. Take care.
