try to cancel your order and get a cmf card reader they work with the 60 but not the 3k go figure! cmf is more durable no moving parts no click of death. Look up the right cfm card reader inthe 60 bible sticky thread to get the proper one

i've been thinkig about getting one

dont you still have to have the scuzzi to have a card reader?

What do the people at Linn say???

By earwolf Tue Jul 04, 2006 2:28 pm
yes whats been the communication? i ordered 3.10 from route66 and had to stop myself flying out there to strangle them they were so damn slow. Linn have a good rep on here so far for service, but are these parts drying up? they having to custom build yours? you phoned em? they taken your money?

Yeah, I've been waiting a month and a half on Roger Linn. I received one email stating they were getting it from a manufacturer, but they never answered any of my other emails.

try Mik @ Soundlogic...

www.ramona.com/soundlogic

homie is dope, he hooked me up with and s950 before, and like 6 memory expansion boards for s950's...

he knows whats up bigtime and makes his own parts for some of these old machines... i know he used to have the Marion Systems SCSI board on his price list for around the same price as RogerLinnDesigns... maybe he has one available, or maybe by now he has figured out his own SCSI board for the 60... i only met the dude once, he runs soundlogic by himself it seemed, but he definitely knew what he was doing when it came to music and electronics... by the way, if i remember correctly everything he has is backed by a lifetime warranty... its worth a phonecall to see if he can help you, be honest with him about your situation and see what he says...

good luck...

http://www.ramona.com/soundlogic/SLxxKUC.html

heres the pricelist from his site...

it seems i was mistaken about the lifetime wwarranty on everything, from the way the list looks, its only on memory upgrades... talk to Mik for full info, im just a satisfied customer trying to spread the word, its been a couple years since dealing with or talking to Mik though...

once again,

Good luck
