Jacpot and Ant-
i've been around. i've just been busy with the endeavors that i'm into. ie - my label and recording studio. doing alot of paperwork and legal work. been busy promoting myself and others and started a new daytime job. from time to time, i've popped back in here to check in on everyone.
Jacpot - there's nothing wrong with me and i'm not mad at Nym. why would i be?
Spirez - i will always be around here. i'm never too far from what's going on, on these boards. so for me to come back with a reply..... here it is.
Now, back to the regularly scheduled topic....
before 2.1 was publically released back in january, there was an os floating around... i think by the same person who did this one. i don't remember. anyway, there was a lot of talk of what that os could do. for those who were around at that time, my question to you is
are you still using it or did you revert to the official akai release of 2.1? and if you did use it and switched to the akai one, why did you switch. the point i'm trying to make is that akai is still developing updates for the 1000 so i will wait for their release. but everyone has to realize, the 1000 is not akai's only product. they have many other products that they have to spend time with. this guy who did this "new" os, is probably focusing
ONLY on the 1k which means he/she could put in more time with updates.
i digress, earlier i said that will not use this update.... well i probably would if akai ever stop supporting the 1k with future updates. then and only then would i use it.
