Why don't you either save up your money for an MPC 2500 or just keep using your 60..if that is what you are using. I see there really isn't much to talk about in the 60 forums besides "What type of floppy disk can I use" or "Where can I send my 60 for repairs?" Dude, just make your choice and keep it movin. Join the 2500 users and stay up here complaining about the OS, or get you an MPC 1000 and complain in that forum about why Akai are taking their time about adding software improvements (or stay in the forum laughing at us MPC 2500 users because your MPC 1000 can do practically the same thing at a lower price).

They will get you the MPC of your needs for several hundred dollars spread over a few months. But they do sell their products at list prices. Give them a call to see if you can talk them down though...
