beta 12 bug list (ONLY POST IF YOU KNOW YOUR SHIT)

Not sure if someone solved this. I was trying to record to track 61 digitally from my computer which is master to my mpc. When I hit record on the mpc and play on my computer, the mpc starts in sync but the recording window that pops up just records a super small snippet over and over and over until I hit stop. Anyone successfully recording into the mpc onto tracks 61+ digitally?

A quick update, I tried some of the previous bugs with beta 12 and here is what I found.

1. Sample 61-64 bug- this is the same as in beta 10 & 11. When messing with this I also noticed that the left and right inputs have slightly different amounts of extra time recorded at the start (as well as the count in that is accidentally recorded). Also, while recording the stereo set of inputs and playing back, the two sides are not in sync with each other on top of being so late.

2. Trim page problems- these are exactly the same as in beta 10 & 11.

3. H-mann's report of loading projects and the trim and sample list being stuck until a sample is copied, or created- This bug remains the same.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a Bug?


When I try to layer different samples on one pad - I can only layer the first and second layer.

If I layer something on the 3rd and 4th layer - the samples are muted, I can't hear anything from them.


Can anyone please confirm this?

In Beta 12

1. In MAIN windows press MODE+6 (TRIM)
2 In TRIM window select the Sample Name and press WINDOW
3. (bug) In SAMPLE LIST everything is corrupted

I noticed this as well as not being able to select samples in the main screen of the trim page. I found out that if you go to the sample list and delete the first sample then it clears out the problem with the corrupted names and then I was able to select samples as usual. In my case the first sample name was ok so maybe this trick wont work all the time.

Bug reports on 61-64 glitch, Trim Mode problems, and Project Files freezing the sample/sample list and causing sample list window corruption are sent in.

Hopefully he fixes those problems and adds chop shop or at least returns slice back to these betas. I know beta versions are not supposed to be fully functional by definition, but some of these newer flaws stop people from being able to work as the normally would when they are using the latest beta version. So most people will have to revert to 2.1 or an earlier beta to work, which in turn causes less bugs to be caught.

So far I think either beta 3 or beta 6 are the most functional at the time of this post.

agree.... 6 seemed like the best so far, but such is progress!

When song is in PLAY mode
and in the new PROGRAM screen

you cannot adjust the level or resonance or panning or filters or any setting in any of the columns ..

anyone else?

also when footswitch is connected to 1 or 2
and tamp tempo is assigned to footswitch - mpc is not changing tempo when i tap.

could be my footswitch can anyone verify ?

has been the L+R sample Mono conversion bug resolved? i was having that on version 10..

Can anybody please try to recreate the layer bug/missing feature as described above.


Or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong?
