yo

i have a bassline that is playing a chorus. the chorus is 4 bars long. this partucular bass line goes from beat 001.01.00 - 002.01.00.....the last note being 50 in length (it is set to note off)

now

if i play this sequence to start with, it pays fine BUT if i play another sequence before it in song (or second seq) mode, and then let it carry on to the chorus, the note which was 50 will play much shorter (maybe around 40). this will happen only the first time the bassline is played. from 003.01.00 onwards (and for as long as it loops) it plays fine.

also the problem on my verses. which has a different bassline.

all my settings apear to be correct. they are all set to 50 and there is nothing which is programed to cut of that particular bass note.

is this somekind of bug?

thanks for any help cos this is fully pissing me off ay

I THINK I had this problem also. I went into step edit and changed that 50 to maybe 49 and/or I kept going one increment lower until it played perfectly. Maybe that will help if it's the same problem though.

the problem is ur start of the bass line is at the very end of last bar, so when u do song mode or change seq's u hear the bass from a couple milla seconds after u first punced the bass in, only solution i can think of is copy the sequence, and put it at the end of the seq u had going prior

so instead of for ex.. u having a 16bar seq befor ur 4 bar chorus comes in, now u have one seq that is twenty bars

it got to do with using note-off and the note durations. if the notes overlap, they will cut off and be recorded with a very small note duration. giving it that stuttered cut off sound. go into step edit and play with the note durations on those affected.

thats true nanoloop.

but in this case it was corrupted data.
