if i remember well it would work as you said in os 1.07. not 2.10 by default. (and also i am not sure what you are about with the keaboard sync thingie...)

so in os2.10, you also need to enable PC send for the track. can't remember where though. (maybe press window with the track or the midi channel hilighted)

and there is also antoher niffty way to send prog. change. only while changing sequence. (which avoid resending it while looping the seq.)

your best bet is the pdf manual update on the akai website (and ctrl + f if you don't fancy reading all ;) )

control the knob of your keyboard can be done with Control change

trucv : your are right for the 1.07 ;)
i am talking about the mdi thingy cause i presume i wanna sync his keyboard ( clava synth to the mpc) and sequencing sounds of his clavia from the mpc throught CC and Program change.

anyway vorahk the answer is yes, and the best trucv advise works perfectly : read the manual, everything is described there ;)

this is totally convoluted and i really dont understand why they did it this way. i would much rather have it programmable in the track step editor instead of having to do it this way.

actionjetzon: you have to select Pgm: 'No. 1' then press the window key.

anyone know if OS 3 addresses this issue?

you can do either way.
