when you make a beat make sure you save "ALL SONG AND SEQ" and "ALL PROGRAMS AND SOUNDS".

then you must load both the program file and the seq file to hear your song.

Like Mr. M said, save ALL and APS.

When you go back to load your song later you should load those same 2 files ALL and APS..

you dont "need" a zip drive but its a good thing to have. If you use alot of long samples, then you for sure will need a zip drive. Unless you have 3000000 floppies and you have the time to keep putting in a disk every 10 seconds just to save one sequence.

Good 'House keeping' will also aid you. Create folders for each song you make then name & save programs and sequences to them accordingly

I.e

NIGHTMARE BEAT>>>Nightmare.APS, Nightmare.ALL

This way, when you come to loading up, its all contained in the same place

what u need to do is this......when you make your beats like how u stated in your last post.......when you select the midi channel( 1a, 2a, ect) u also need to select the instrument......2 from the bottom on the right.......this way when u save your stuff and then you reload it......it will also load the information needed for your song to play back right

Hope this solves your problem.......If it doesnt bring it back home and we will figure it out for you
