Questions on future OS

I keep hearing people say things like"I can't wait for the new OS" or "when the 2500 finally gets a stable OS it's gonna be a monster" so my question is


Does akai have a rep for taking forever to release an update for the OS,how much longer do you guys think we will have to wait?


P.S does anyone know the date or year that the 2500 lanched?

..not really.. well sometimes.. not really though..but idk how much longer were gonna have 2 wait but you should ask akai support when a new one is coming out .. but yea.. and no i dont really recall when it ca,e out. you should check on google.. im pretty sure youll find it faster.. they should have it .... well hope ya find it... peace!

The 2500 came out towards the end of '05. Akai is always working on improving its unstable OS' (Believe it or not.) I would say we will have a new one by the end of the year, maybe beginning of next year.

You mean a stable one?

There's bound to be another release before that amount of time.

by the time a new os comes out in 2007 I may actually know how to use my 2500 properly.
