Cheapest/Best pair of Monitors \\URGENT//

My studio plans are complete and i made my choice for everything expect the monitors.
They're really hard to find. especially cheap ones but performant.

help me, what do yall suggest

With the rest of your setup you dont wanna cheap out on the monitors now!

I wouldnt look at anything less than KRK RP8s, Event TR8s or something similar

I suggest savin up til you can get some quality monitors...

look to spend at least a g...

i personally use the 8in truths.. and i love em..

but ive heard nothing but good things about krk's.. many people on here use truths, events and krks. all of which are affordable..

Should i get a single monitor or 2 of them.

i think smoove reviewed the 5's and he said they are no good...

Why would you want 2 pairs?

Could probably pick up some Event 20/20s for a similar price.

get one pair of the krk rp8's...

But you also gotta take into consideration how big is your studio and if they gonna be enough power. You could get pair of krk rp5 and KRK RP10S Rokit Powered 10" Subwoofer if ya into really deep low end factor. Most pro studios use at least 2 pairs of reference monitors, you could always get something better later down the road and have the rp5 as your second pair reference monitors. But if money is not an issue why not get something better that will last your for years without need of upgrading.

before making a decision I recommend a trip to local music store with your own music and test them out for yourself.

My room is really really small so i think it should be allright, im not lookin for something extrvagante but enuff to put a good sound during the playback of my Fostex VF160EX recorder.

you should be alright....but like I said dont let others people pick monitors for you...go to music store and see what you like with your own ears. Cuz in the end you're the one who is going to be using them in everydays music production

yep, agreed. monitors are a very personal decision. what works for the next man might not work for you.
