What's the future of the 3000!!!!

Yeah me too, i have my few peices of hardware and just cant get away from it. Im starting to mix ITB lately with my Waves SSL and UA stuff though and it comes pretty close to sounding like my mixes coming off hardware.

So how are you finding the new 2500? I bought mine a couple of months back but use the 4000 for now, as i dont wanna mess with bugs.

Who is/are "they"

What is "unuseable" about these delays ?

What "update" would "you" make to these delays ?

Whoever does the update?? What did you think I meant?

And yes the 3000 Could offer many more options. Ping Ping. Rotary speaker, slap and time based delays would be nice. Also,I'd to see like delays on each pad not one for the whole program!!

If possible, timestretch woul be nice in the 3k also

what does neo soul or detroit have anything to do with the mpc 3000. Honestly you can emulate that on any mpc. Its just a style. If your forward thinking. I can see an sp 1200 with its distinct flavor. But then I know people that create stricly house music and use the sp 1200.

Remember that any S2XXX/S3XXX/MPC2XXX series AKAI sampler needs an ADD-IN DSP board to achieve the "extra effects".

In the case of the S3200/S3200XL models this board is included standard.

All I really need is Zone editing and the ability to use say 2 programs at once, and I would be happier than a pig in sh it...

V1.2 Has been rock 4 me. The machine sounds great and has all those features we all want.........

I was using my 2500 today and layed down some complex drum parts and gotta say its a pretty sweet machine. its got a nice clean sound to it and its quick to work on due to its nice layout. I can get used to the clicky wheel. My 4000 still rules though, its a powerful bit of kit and getting quite rare to get hold of nowadays.

This is nonsense, I'm still turning out jems with my 3000 daily. You can have your timestretch!! If you want features, get a pc.

timestretch on the 3k would take all week probably...

the 3000 is **** ill ...

but the thing is it is a bit slower. it does take his time to load, i load like 90mb of samples on my mpc1000 in seconds. my shit i don't think is as high quality as when i used the mpc3000, but i can make upf or that with doing much more much quicker, and getting my skills up instead of relying on the machine too much.

I love the 60, 3000 n all, but it is slow:(

I simply wish it was easier to port over samples to the mpc3000. the ni'd definately stick to that.

well and if it had track muting via pads...

We've spoken about this before, but.... TRACK MUTE!!!!! Track mute is ALL I need on the 3k... just my 2cents
