That´s a matter of preference, perspective and experience. I´d like to think we haven´t even really started to reach the real goodies yet. As we progress and more blatant and easy flipped samples get exploited we have to dig deeper and listen in new ways to find golden samples. New sounds and techniques will surface, stuff will change and the scene gets a much needed injection of fresh thinking and fresh blood.

There are too many records out there. Plus everybody doesn't really dig. Some people just try to flip a song that everybody knew from back in the day. If you really dig then there's no way you can run out of records or samples, chop small or loops you'll be straight if you really dig.

nah they will never run out.. in addition to what jacpot was saying, i have taken one chop and flipped it mulitple times in different ways.. with different drums, different patterns etc..

wehn laid across the key range, my radium 49 gives me a whole range of different unrecognizable variations of one original sample.. and from there i can make all kinds of shht..

that is one of the stupidest thing i have evaaaar hearded...

every week new records are excavated on vinyl vulture that no one has heard of that have seriously dope loops ..
areas such as japanese funk ,euro prog, private press folk are all amazing for sampling and have hardly all been dug up....
i cant see many big producers in new york sampling turkish psych etc...
yuo obviously just to lazy to research obscure music...
if im diggin in charity shops i just pick up anything that looks obscure/weird and i listen to it on the portable..
this is how tunes non one has heard of are discovered...
even if you are not an expert on the "classic" digging records you can still find stuff no one has heard with dope stuff..just listen

Thats just a plain lie. I have made at least 4 beats off of loops no one has ever sampled from before, and im a cut type of producer. I like to collect individual sounds. Start looking up music from other countrys. The phillipines, Sri Lanka, man you will find so many dope loops that have never been used before.

no we will never run out you know why? in 30 years, we will be sampling the shit that's on the radio now. LMAO, i honestly can't imagine that but it'll be true. we can't keep milking out samples from the 60s, 70s, and 80s FOREVER.
