Off the top of my head, I can't give you any specifics but most of the so-called professionals (people that do this for a living) use computers/software for remixing....oh, I can give you one example..Kanye and his team of engineers use Pro Tools and/or Logic for re-mixing.

Other software....Digital Performer, Nuendo/Cubase, Sound Forge, Wavelab, Sonar, Bias Peak, Ableton Live, Acid, Giga Sampler, etc

Ableton would probably be right up your street. Or the latest version of Acid

i tried abelton. i dont think i am going to change my mind about hating editing in computers (notmpc).

i've never had to sample anything for 3 minutes...thats more then enough...im not really familiar with what you're tryin to do so I cant really comment on that. but it seems a little bit too much...

why do you think the mv would be a better choice? couldnt you just sample into the computer and take certain parts that way?

the reason is i need the "workspace" i am working around my stupidity though. . .l

this is the result of growing up with a mpc with 8mb.
