DECAY

Hello I m talkin about DECAY not DELAY.
When I put some decay at the END of my snare for example, to make it sound shorter; I get this snare delayed one time a second later!
How can I avoid that?

that's exactly what I do... but then I have a delay that is going louder the more decay I put. (it's not very loud but it's disturbing off course)

that's an INCREDIBLY irritating os 2.1 bug.

upgrade to os 3.162 to fix it.

go install os v3 b16, it rocks. i use my mpc 7 hours a day and i had only minor bugs.

I just bought my first MPC so I've never updated. I guess it's not very complicated.
What are the pro s of this new OS and what minor bugs are there?

search for "os 3" threads, there is a lot of information, too much for me to write down. and if you don't feel comfortable updating to a third party beta os (which i nevertheless recommend), at least get os 2.1, great new (standard) features (ie. track velocity, new fx, hdd support ...).

That's an annoying bug isn't it?
I'd definitely upgrade to OS 3 if i were you.
The minor bugs in OS 3 are not at all as frustrating as the Amp Env bug in Wakai's 2.1
Check my signature for the link to OS 3. Put the BIN on your card and load it.
If, for whatever reason, you'd like to go back to 2.1 you can just load that again.

Maybe it is a stupid question but will there ever be a version without any bug?
And another question; when I save all seq. and songs to my flash mem. will I find everything as it was when I turn it off and back on? Or do I also have to save the samples......
