recording to mpc.. Really need help!

pc lineout --> mpc left record in.. Can you give sum good hints how to record.. I know i need to go to "sample" then put the recording mode to analog. Then just record the sh*t..
I made it that way.. I put the sample to pad a8 and I can hear it if i push the pad (LOTS of latency in it!!). Then I tried to trim the sample to start right. I couldn't see the sample in trim mode.. But why?
If you can see what I mean please help me.

When ur in the sample screen, make sure you gettin a good signal.
Depending on what your sampling, make sure your gettin a good level in and the threshold is set accordingly.

Also, I hope u understand what your doing by running the line out (stereo feed) into only 1 Rec in. Your strippin the signal down

To avoid the 'latency' you describe, try not to press record until u are ready to sample. or refer to the threshold option.

I tell you what tho, the manual does a good job of telling you what to do.
