DL samples or buy Modules?

hello
im just gettin started in this thing
and i was wonderin
if i d/l samples like Triton sound samples
would it sound the same as if I'm using the real sound module?

i was using Reason and i just ordered MPC 1000 and it should be here by tomorrow. I really dont know sh**. help will be very appereciated.

well if you buy the cd's, you'll want to have a way to spread them across the keys on your keyboard (if you have one). if you dont have a sampler that can do that for you, i would stick with the modules. it'll save you the trouble.

now if we're talkin about short one shot sounds, cd's wouldnt be a problem. but if your talkin about synths, keys etc.., you'll want a way to play them on a keyboard.

Not to mention the huge tweakability you get with modules.

Do you Have REFILLS Not TRITON PER SE BUT GOOD REFILLS OR SOUNDFONTS???????


IF YOU DO THAT WILL BE NEARLY THE SAME As A MODULE..............

I say get the module. The more you cut corners the more your music will sound like you cut corners. IMHO. But it all depends on the type of producer you are. 9th wonder uses fruity loops and a record player. That's it. I don't sample that often (I sample drums obviously) So I would say get the triton rack, although It's a known fact that the motif has the realest sounds.

I could have explained my stance on it but I just didn't feel like it at the moment. Sometimes it's just easier not to even go in depth.
