I am trying to use the sequencer in protools and the sounds from the mpc 1000 I have the midi out on the mpc going to the in on my midi sport 4x4 and the out on my midi sprot 4x4 going to the in on my mpc I can hear the sound when I hit the pads but when I put protools in record mode and hit the pads there is no data showing up in the protools grid however when I hit the keys on my controler while protools is recording I get data from the mpc but what I want to do is hit the mpc pad to do the sequenceing in protools. I'm using the digi 002 thank you in avance for your help.
