i need help transferring sounds from computer to mpc

I have tried to transfer a sound from my cpu to my mpc1000 by putting the sound on a memory card and then loading it into the mpc. When I go to load the sound into my mpc, i get a "WRONG FILE" message on the display screen. The sound file was saved as a WAV file.. Can anyone help me get sounds from my cpu to my mpc? Any help is much appreciated. thanks.......................

try a different format...

44khz, 16bit wav.

do not save extra info/metedata in the wave file.


load that into your mpc.

Thankx for the headz up. I tried to transfer sounds and this time it werkt. I just set the file to 16bit. 44khz and saved it without all that extra info/metedata in the wave file. Thanks again...
