Transmitting MMC in a message

Hi, i have an Edirol PCR-M50 and i was wondering if there was any way i could send MMC messages from the keyboard to the MPC so i could just press one of the buttons for, start, stop.. etc.. in the editor it doesnt have MMC selectable but if its just a midi message, is there some kind of binary code for the MMC as it can transmit a lot of other type of messages. thanks for your help.

yeah just hook it up right... midi out to mpc midi in... it works for me (cme uf 6 keyboard). even my midicontrollers (all 3 of them) do it. so nyes it's possible. But just the transport buttons though.
