aite so im using the mpc 1000 to loop drums and i have it linked to my MIDI keyboard motif ES6..

recording is working fine...BUT i played one voice on the keyboard but i want to use another voice in the same sequence...

i tried changing tracks and changing the MIDI 1A to MIDI 1B, 2A etc...

but all that does is change the voice that i previously recorded on track 1....how do i use more than 2 voices??

AND i was listening to a sample on the computer and it was tight...when I loaded it into my MPC and played it into the same speakers, the sound quality of the drums was **** garbage...

all of my drums sound like garbage...i layer em put 808 kicks tweak them...they sound like ****...is the mpc just horrible in sound quality for dums?

lampdog says the keyboard should have a midi number assigned to it so dial it in on the mpc??

wth is he talking about? where do i dial it...

What you set under MIDI is only the channel (1-16) and MIDI Out (A-D). Then you can select a Program in the PGM: field next to it. Change it until it shows "No." and a number from 1-128. That is used to select the program on your connected keyboard.
