tell me what the bunk is up with this

aight i gotta problem. i saw prince paul last week out here in barcelona and missed the bunken superbowl cause i thought that he was goen to wreck it considering the list of classics that hes produced...but instead i got three hours of cd scratching. no tables. prince paul doesnt use table when he performs live?! dont get me wrong he was pretty ill with the equipment, but the threshold of varition in sound was all but depressing. loved the selection of tracks that he played. but for 18 euro give me some tables.

He was just freakin some new tech. I love decks, but you can't hate on someone tryin something new. Those CDJ-1000s are sussposed to be just like vinyl. I have used them in stores, but I don't like the way the platter doesn't move. The Denons move, and Numark has one that the jog/scratch wheel is the size of a record.

I am a DJ so records are my life, but CDs are more portable (no luggin crates up stairs), and can hold more tracks. I guess It's a matter of preference. Hey music's music. As long as it sounds good, who cares if he's rockin 8-Tracks. Just if he gives the people a good show.

My mans got some pro scratch joints and they sound very similar to vinyl, but the jog wheels don't spin and that's kinda tricky to get the feel of it, but he's a relatively new DJ and he never used wax so he likes it and it doesnt' sound half bad. You can never be a Qbert scratch deejay with those but... you can most def rock a party with those or make a mixtape...
