recording beats

Hi there my friends

I make beats on my MPC2000XL and got a Fostex Mr-8 recorder

I records my drums in stereo on track 1 nd 2 and the other samples on 4 & 5.. then bounce the whole thing to track 7/8 and convert it to a stereo .wav file!

but if I just record the whole beat to track 1 and 2 (so drums and samples at once) do i get a less quality?

i dont use any fx and all of it is already mixed in the MPC2000XL!

nope.......if u decide to eq it afterwards it will affect the whole recording apose to just a drum track or one of the samples

how do you like the mr-8 i was thinking about one but they seem kinda budget.

I like it a lot. Got 8 tracks, which is really good in that price range. Effects and mastering effects are dope.

But,i got a studio/virtual drum machine-steinberg groove agent..
it works real fine.
Im planning on getting a drum amchine-hardware..
now is is really necessary,that i get a the hardware?

the Mr-8 is the shit!! I like the simplicity of it! on the real you have as many tracks as your memory will alow because you can bounce and then delete tracks!
