BIG problem Anybody please

OK, so im makin a beat right, first program is filled up wit sampled sounds, so i go to drum 2 to create a autochromatic piano, ok dat works fine, so third i created a autochrom organ on DRUM 3, and finally when i want to listen to the whole thing the bass is cut off some of the sounds are cut off its like hell broke loose in my mpc or something.when i mute piano its fine when i unmute its back again, when i mute my organ on track 7 its fine i unmute its cuttin off other sounds, what the hell can this be from, it sounds like phase cancelation or something like that. please somebody help!!!!

my kicks cut off half off my samples are cutting off it sounds like there is some kind of shortage in wiring? i dunno maybe memory ? i dont think so my mem is full what the hell is this and by the way its an xl

You've probably exceeded the polyphony of the MPC. The MPC 2000 can play up to 32 samples at the same time. When you exceed this limit it will "steal" voices causing it to cutoff samples.

You could also have some pads assigned to mute other pads. It's in the manual.

Sometimes you'll have to set the decay/envelope shorter as so not to let the sample run too long into the next sample.

I usually don't let my long sample run into another long sample anymore than like 7 ticks. After that I've noticed the second long sample (on the same track) will not play at all.

Try that, along with what Kraster said. One of them should work, I'm guessing.

man i feel stupid i really appreciate it kraster and lamp dog i thought it was somekind hardware problem cause damn thats what it sounds like but thanks this place is the best

damn.....this is still no help. what up if you play keys? basslines and piano chords..what would I do then?
