My friend had a Roland V-kit for a while, it was a simple thing to do:
Connect the midi out of the drum brain to the midi in on the MPC and turn on the midi in on your MPC. You may have to tweak the drum brain to have it send midi on the correct channel, it might be a specific preset etc.
You work program mode by pressing a pad and the MPC automatically selects the pad that you hit With the midi setup, the V-kit will act as the MPC's pads. You can easily edit each drum pad by hitting it to select it on the MPC! If you want you can edit the midi assignments but we didn't bother.
