Finally I Get A Ride and When I Get to His Crib I Called Him Hes Like "Wait Right There"..........

Jus' then Dude Comes Down With 2 Neatly Packed Boxes On A Dolly And Says "Where's your Car".......... ..................

He Pushed the Dolly All the Way to My Trunk I Lifted Them In And he Said "ENJOY!!!!!!!!"

Ive never been into diggin mostly cuz my pops left me his collection of vinyl which was pretty impressive and contained just about anything you could want in a vinyl collection(my broad left this collection in california when we moved to florida, needless to say I was a lil upset)

well I start tryin to put pops' collection back together so a couple of years ago I came across a cat sellin 24 boxes of vinyl that his brother who had died left behind. I sent dude an email to see if he had gotten rid of it(i figured he hadnt since it was a "local pick up only" deal) and sure enough he still had 'em. He said I could have the lot for a bill if I came and got 'em. Rented a u haul van and drove about 45 minutes to orlando and picked em up. There were thousands of albums in the collection, mostly garbage but a lot of very good stuff too...

Now for the part of the story thats really gonna flowers with ya'll diggers(Ill admit Im not one). When I moved back to cali a few months ago bringin all these records wasnt an option and I couldnt find anybody that wanted em soooooo....































I left em in the apartment when I moved

tight.. he could of atleast sold them for like 5 bucks.. all of them..lol.. but coo.. your pretty lucky.thats what i call free sampling without strings...lol

That's a nice haul! I love stories like that!

My best ---- I was in a antique store in Fargo and they had a couple boxes of 45's. I asked how much for all of them and the lady she didn't know and told me to come back later. I come back and she tells me $20 and to park my car around back 'cuz it'll be easier to load. hmmm... it shouldn't be too hard to load two boxes of 45's... THEN she starts bringing out box after box after box.... I filled up a '94 ford taurus -- trunk, backseat, floor, front passenger seat -- the whole car was full of records for $20!

I only kept maybe a couple hundred out of what must of been 3000 records --- most were awful, awful country from the early 80's, but I did get a bunch of old rock'n'roll, disco, soul and odd stuff. Also helped me get through a cold minnesota winter...

Who Got Free Vinyl Stories?????!?@?@??????

I recently got about 50 free records from an old neighbor that I hadn't seen in about 6yrs....I could've gotten the whole lot, but for some reason I didn't. Anyway, no imports, just the same o' some o'......a few good things I hadn't heard in there though......about 10...so it was okay.

I got about 300 tapes, of some old ass sh!t, from an old dude for free once. These were the gems out of the two freebies.
