best way to get my mpc file into my daw?

hello!
i´m searching for the best way to get my mpc3000 files into my daw(g5/motu896/logic) without loosing the magic.
a) making seperate audio files: i´ve to cut them, latency..
b) recording all mpc tracks to one audio file:
c) export sequences as midi files: still the same vibe in the daw?

what about the pros, how do you that?

In mpc3k songmode, place a blank bar at the beginning so that Logic has time to sync up before it starts to record the multiple tracks.

When the 3k song finally starts playing Logic/DAW should already be synced up and all tracks recorded should be on point.

I've done that w/ 2kxl and vegas before, 2kxl and samplitude and have never had a problem. It's also been advised by many here to other people with in the same situation that you have.

good point, but how do you handle your latency on ur daw?
i work on a apple g5 2.5dual / motu 896 fw and adjusted the regular "latency problem" good for the first bars, but after 4bars everything´s running out of system (slowly but u can hear and see(zoom), although it´s syncd) and i end up cutting all files. so at the end of my day...nuthing´s as tight as it was before, because cutz..u know.
only idea is pro tools..to get all seperated files recorded properly.?.
i don´t know---still searching...

you can also get logic to sync up to the audio of the MPC once it's in, which if you can record all tracks at once means you get the 100% of that MPC feel, mythical or not.
