hd folder organisation

hello,
how do u organise ur samples on the mpc1000 s hd
as i was not able to open a folder to selct a sample,
but it says only to load the complete folder.... not easy
when there are a lot.... can i only put all the samples and files
only on the hd without folder to select some...
