Hi, I need help with two problems I have with my mpc (0S v2.10):

1. I was doing corrections in the step edit and suddenly some events didn´t sound (I was adjusting the lenght and the position of the events). It was a seq of 12 bars so I decided to repeat the guitar sample track but now the bd and the snare that were in the 1st track doesn´t sound after the 2nd bar.

2. In the 16 levels (Tune) I can´t overleaped the sample. For example I press the 5th pad and press the 6th pad before the 5th finish it´s sound and when I release the 5th pad it mutes the sound of the 6th pad after it ends it´s sound (using the pads in "note on" mode). I have bought the 1k second handed two weeks ago and I don´t know if my pads are broken or if it is something usual of the 1k.

I would like to know something else, I´m thinking on upgrading my OS, I´m not sure how 1k works but do you think that the new OS takes advantage of all posibilities of the A/D D/A mpc´s converters?

Thank you and sorry about my english

Thank you a lot for your answers!!!!

I realized that in the step edit you must press de "overdub" button each time that you modify one event, this way you will have no problems but this one is f.... borred. Is there another way to do this?

-I would like to know if those who has upgrading the OS had realized if the sound is wosrt or the same.

Thank you.

Don't use the move function. Copy/paste the events and delete the old ones.

Do you press the "overdub" button, til the red light is off, each time you make a single move? or you can do more than one move, with diferents events, without pressing the "overdub" each time?

i don't press overdub. i only highlight the event i want to move (hold shift if you want to move more than one), push the move button and move them :) it's that simple!

Thanks!
I just highlighted the position of the event not all the event.
