funky data wheel

ok i jus got an mpc 2000xl a couple daysa ago.....when im trimming a sample....its all good and can be pretty quick wen i scroll clockwise........but wen im scrolling backwards (counter-clockwise) its slow and will sometimes jump forward a couple digits

am i just a slow backwards scroller

or does ne body else have this problem too??

could just be the jog wheel...did u get it new or used?

try shift + note variation slider, heaps quicker for me, get it in the approximate spot then fine tune with the wheel/zoom.
but you probably already know this

nah man thanks...i dint know that....

so hold down shift and wen i move the slider it will scroll for trimming?
