My Midi Sync Problem on the 2500

I'm trying to set up midi for my mpc to computer and what I have is this
a basic usb midi cable, i was wondering what's my options? i would like to use the mpc as the master, thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

What software and what type of midi capabilites do you plan to do once you have it hooked up to your computer. Let us know, and we'll probably be able to help you out better.

Install the drivers (if necessary) that came with the cable in your PC.

Connect the USB end to your PC's USB port. Than connect the USB/MIDI cable's MIDI OUT to the MPCs MIDI IN1 and.....USB/MIDI cable's MIDI IN to the MPCs MIDI OUTA.

Now, what ever software you are using...go to the preferences/MIDI set-up/connections (or what ever they are calling it) and make sure to set your USB/MIDI cable is selected as your main device....
