dude ....can ytou tell me or give me an idea of how you goin to do this? :?

if your sampling off the radio do you get the hole song or do you record half ass little pieces, if you dont catch the piece that you want what do you do wait for it to come back on?

you must be a beginner, inexperienced, i use to do that back in "78"
now that i have the records it much faster retard.

if you dont know your music which i asume you dont, thats why you so cheap to not pick up a cd at least of the music your sampling to have a full version of it , you prolly have some samples that dont evenloop right.

like MPC come here to learn something and say something positive ,
HELLO MC FLY. anybody home, buthead

you cant compare the sound you get from records to what you hear on your XM chl in less you want to make BOOTYass HIPHOP with samples that dont even loop cause you were to late to press the pause button

WOW

"record half ass little pieces"
I do that sometimes on the orchestra station @ home..
I have no vinyl but I still respect vinyl.

@ Mich, all this backlash your getting is from you coming up in the cratedigger hood wearing the wrong color. I wouldn't mess with these thugs up in here, with you disrepecting their #1 Chulita.

I'll Sample a Weedeater and a Lawnmower, Reverb it, reverse it, filter it,
and chop it into 8 individual sounds and assign it to 8 pads and pound out a club banger.....
...What.

theres nothing wrong with sampling other sources , i just dont feel it being complete when you sample a sound and you dont catch the hole piece like you would if your recording from radio,
i personally like to record from radio but not the music in less it's a mix you feel me? i like to use the commericals and sounds fromthe radio but if sampling a song then i use a record,
do what you got to do to make your beats , just dont come in here and say that vinyl aint shi+ for sampling cause your goin to get piled on for realz,
do what you got to do but keep it to your self .if you need help with vinyl then ask for it , dont put it down.

as ede said its cool that you have other sources for sampling. Lots of people have different methods. But don't disregard ours just because u found some "COOL XM" Crap channel. Records and vinyl have been around a HELLLL of a lot longer than XM radio. Just my opinion.
