Hey yall.
Invested in an mpc1000 last week. lovin it so far.
Just want to figure out an easy way to get that shuffle hi hiat happening, for reggae/roots/soul soundin music. Im aware of tcing the hat pad to 1/16th then swinging it to about sixty percent.... but what i want is the First hit to be louder, and the second to be softer, 3rd loud, second soft and so on.
I know that i could do it over the 2 bars just doing my best at hitting the pad at different velocitys, but its hard for an unco cat like me... there MUST be an easier way.
