am i breaking my cf card and/or mpc...

I have all my drum and other samples on one cf card, then I save my projects on another cf card. If I keep inserting, taking out and re-inserting my cards will the cards detoriate and/or possibly break the card holder in the mpc? I don't know how sturdy the 1000 is, so just makin sure.

the contacts will get oxidized over time.....pretty much quit working.... but it doesnt have anything to do with how much you use it, they can break though if u force it in. one thing i know is if the card has gold contacts( which i think they do) and they sit on silver color contacts it can rush the process because of the two diff. metal types.... but leaving them exposed isnt good either so oh well
