MPC 2000 OS help

I just got a used 2000 a few days ago. It came with version 1.70 OS and loaded fine. I downloaded version 1.72, loaded it and I got, "no system file". I did a search but couldnt find anything. Any help would be apreciated.

SYS and EXE are the 2 files you are looking for when downloading the 2k OS. Place those 2 files in the root directory of the floppy (not it any folders).

I got it from akaipro.com, are there any other sites to look?

I'm not sure, you'll have to search.

if the file was zipped make sure to unzip it then place it on the floppy
