well it's quite obvious...the 1000 & the 2500 are very similar in a lot of ways and a lot of things that can be used with the 1000 can also be used with the 2500 unlike the 3000 & 60...

Man, I really and truly WANT me a 2500 or 4k when I get back.

4k is too big and I don't like the though of using ak-sys. I just want to drag and drop without using any other software.

2500 I think would suit me FINE. I don't want a g-normous mpc.

I'm coming to you for all my newbie problems and gripes, jk.
